Annual Training for Nehemiah Vancity’s Leaders – China

Each year for the past 3 years I have traveled to Hong Kong China to work alongside an expert in Opium Addictions/Recovery among the poor in Hong Kong China with Jackie Pullinger Author of Chasing the Dragon. Jackie has effectively been helping those with Opium addictions and criminal pasts walk out of bondage and into new life through a relationship with Jesus Christ for over 40 years . In addition Jackie Pullingers Ministry St Stephens Society HK partners with Dunamis Ministries in Germany Psychologists who specialize in the area of Inner Healing/Deliverance. Through a Combined effort between the two Ministries they are able to offer an exclusive inner healing/deliverance training session in HK China.

Nehemiah Vancity vision is to reproduce these modules of Recovery right here in Vancouver’s Down Town East Side which is why each year I feel it is necessary to travel into China to learn and develop these skills to impart here in Vancouver as well as our other global initiatives. This year Nehemiah Vancitys Chairman Evan Powroznik is also going to Hong Kong China to participate and observe this successful recovery model. In Addition I feel it is essential to establish a broader reach in regards to global missions through our partners in Asia. Last year I felt led to spend time at the YWAM base in China & will be doing so again this trip to continue to build relationship & focus on sending others into the Country that we are partnered with long term.
